What does the process of starting treatment look like?
After completing the contact form, you can expect a Zen Psychology & Wellness clinician to reach out to you within 3-5 business days to provide information about current availability and to discuss setting up a brief phone consultation (15-20 minutes) to better understand what your goals for therapy are. At this time, a clinician may also provide a brief overview of the treatment process, what to expect from sessions, fees for services, and, if both parties agree to work together, an initial intake session will be scheduled. If it is determined that it would be best to refer you to another provider, we will send you referrals to attempt to help you get connected.
When are sessions offered?
Zen Psychology & Wellness currently offers morning and afternoon sessions on Monday through Friday during the hours of (9AM to 8PM).
Do you accept insurance?
Clinicians at Zen Psychology & Wellness are considered out-of-network providers for all other insurances with the exception of Aetna. Clinicians provide receipts or superbills which can be used to submit for insurance reimbursement should your insurance offer out-of-network benefits. It is advised that you call your insurance company to inquire about out-of-network benefits.
Do you accept out-of-network clients?
Yes, clinicians at Zen Psychology & Wellness primarily work with out-of-network clients. Fees for sessions will be discussed in the phone consultation prior to the initial session. Upon request, out-of-network clients are provided with a session receipt which includes all relevant information needed for clients to submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement.
